Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Systems Engineer II - Modeling Simulation & Analysis to develop high-fidelity simulations for missile design and flight test support. This onsite role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance.

You will collaborate with GNC and Signal Processing teams, perform trade studies, and guide junior engineers through the product lifecycle, delivering rigorous modeling and analysis within a dynamic defense program.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C/C++ programming.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Experience modeling, simulating, and/or analysis of physical systems.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies and evaluate performance.
• Work in a team environment and provide guidance to other team members.
• Collaborate with GNC and Signal Processing to perform simulation activities per schedule.
• Work on multiple projects; develop approaches and solutions across product lifecycle.
• Provide technical expertise for simulation products and interact with government counterparts as needed.
