RTX's Processing, Guidance, & Controls Center in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Systems Engineer II to design, simulate, and validate control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and test teams to drive robust system performance.

Candidates typically hold an engineering or related STEM degree with at least two years of relevant experience and can work on-site with eligibility for interim clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field; 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems or related areas.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, or object-oriented design.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Build and use dynamic system models and simulations to evaluate behavior.
• Analyze test data to assess performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and test teams to validate complex systems.
• Develop algorithms and models for performance analysis and testing.
