Job summary

RTX's Processing, Guidance, & Controls Center in Tucson, AZ is hiring Systems Engineer II to develop, simulate, and validate control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate system behavior and shorten development cycles.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and model-based design.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree.
• Minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design.

Responsibilities

• Develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms for complex autonomous systems.
• Build and use dynamic system models and simulations to evaluate behavior and reduce development cycles.
• Analyze test data to evaluate performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and test teams to validate complex systems.
• Develop algorithms, system models, simulation tools, or signal processing for complex products.
