Job summary

THTBC is seeking a Systems Engineer Level II to administer, monitor, secure, and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure across servers, cloud services, identity systems, virtualization, networking, and endpoints. You will support Microsoft 365 Commercial and GCC High, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, VMware, and Hyper-V while implementing NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC safeguards for CUI/FCI.

The role involves after-hours and on-call duties.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Cybersecurity/IS or related field, or equivalent combo of education and experience.
At least 5 years of enterprise IT experience, including 2 years on production server/cloud/infrastructure.
Hands-on with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 administration.
Working knowledge of Azure, Entra ID, MFA, and VMware/Hyper-V; automation basics with PowerShell.

Responsibilities

Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability; investigate alerts and resolve tickets.
Administer Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, M365, Azure, Entra ID, VMware/Hyper-V environments.
Support enterprise networking incl. routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and WAN.
Manage access changes, MFA, RBAC, elevated permissions, and access reviews.
Maintain endpoint tools, patching, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening.
Validate backups, conduct restore tests, and assist with DR exercises.
