Job summary

iT1, a leading national technology solution provider, is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support managed services infrastructure and act as a bridge between the company and clients.

The role emphasizes monitoring, incident response, and escalation management across Windows, Azure, and virtualization platforms. You will mentor junior engineers and help drive operational efficiency using automation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in infrastructure, systems, networking.
• Experience with managed-services support.
• Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience handling alerts through escalation and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts and monitoring-system notifications.
• Research, resolve, document, and communicate incidents within defined SLA targets.
• Provide intermediate network troubleshooting (Meraki, Cisco, VPNs, switching, routing, wireless, firewalls).
• Troubleshoot and support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365.
• Assist with Azure administration including VMs, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and identity services.
