The Systems Engineer I supports the NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex ITW/AA and NISSC II programs, performing lifecycle engineering tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a classified environment.

The role emphasizes requirements analysis, documentation, integration, testing, and sustainment of mission-critical systems, with a strong focus on MBSE and SE best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 0 to 3 years of engineering or systems engineering experience.
• Experience applying engineering techniques and criteria to assigned work.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering V-Model methodologies and MBSE concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities for mission and operational systems (NISSC II).
• Interpret requirements and perform analyses to meet objectives.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation and records.
• Apply SE processes throughout the system lifecycle and support verifications.
