Job summary

PE Systems, Inc. is seeking a General/Interdisciplinary Engineer, Senior to support NC3 programs at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role focuses on advising management and ensuring secure, resilient communications and information systems across the lifecycle.

The candidate will apply broad engineering knowledge, MBSE practices, and system modernization strategies while working with program leadership and government officials to sustain mission capabilities.

Qualifications

• MA degree with 10+ years of related experience or BA with 15+ years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Project).
• Ability to perform all duties independently.
• Ability to travel to facility sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, and sustain secure communications and information systems across the full systems engineering lifecycle.
• Provide expert engineering advice to program leadership and government officials on NC3 operations.
• Incorporate MBSE and model-based engineering throughout the program lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends for modernization and mission relevance.
• Develop cost estimates and perform trade studies for system options.
• Ensure system security and resiliency in design addressing threats and availability.
• Prepare technical documentation detailing requirements, interfaces, architectures, and specs.
• Oversee integration of subsystems and end-to-end system functionality.
