Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Software Engineer to support NORAD ITW/AA and NISSC II at the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. You will develop and maintain mission software with strong code quality, security, and testing in mind, and work with full-stack applications and containerization technologies.

The role requires IAT Level II Certification, 4+ years as a software developer, 3+ years Java, and experience with Java Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, APIs, and containers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a software developer.
• 3+ years of software development experience with Java.
• Detailed understanding of the Java programming language.
• Experience with Java project management tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Experience developing microservices using Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Experience developing technical solutions to meet defined requirements.
• Experience writing event-driven applications utilizing a messaging service.
• REST API development and containerization experience.
• Agile team experience and on-time delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications for NORAD ITW/AA and NISSC II.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deliver reliable mission software.
