Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to support NORAD and USSPACECOM missions from the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. You will help integrate, test, deploy, and sustain critical national mission systems across hardware, software, networking, and cyber domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of systems integration or related DoD environment experience.
• Active Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Experience integrating hardware, software, networking, and mission systems.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems in operational or classified environments.
• Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows operating environments.
• Experience with Agile development and/or DevSecOps environments.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, cybersecurity, software development, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Support system integration activities across hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and operational mission environments.
• Support deployment, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and sustainment of integrated mission systems and enterprise capabilities.
• Coordinate integration activities between systems engineering, software development, cybersecurity, operations, and external stakeholders.
• Support verification and validation activities, integration testing, operational assessments, and readiness evaluations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system interoperability, configuration, performance, and operational issues across complex environments.
• Support implementation and maintenance of CI/CD and DevSecOps integration processes where applicable.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including integration procedures, architecture diagrams, interface documentation, and operational support materials.
• Participate in Agile development and integration activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical reviews, and release planning.
• Support configuration management, change management, and technical baseline activities.
• Support system modernization and technology refresh initiatives across mission systems.
• Assist with root cause analysis, incident response, and operational problem resolution efforts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on system reliability, scalability, maintainability, and mission effectiveness.
