Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Systems Engineer I to support the NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex program, including ITW/AA and NISSC II lifecycle activities. You will work independently on tasks while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure requirements are understood, documented, implemented, and verified.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 0–3 years engineering experience, with familiarity in MBSE, SysML, Cameo, and V-Model processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 0–3 years in engineering or systems engineering.
• Experience applying engineering techniques and criteria.
• Experience planning and coordinating engineering tasks.
• Knowledge of V-Model methodologies.
• MBSE and SysML familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities for mission systems.
• Interpret requirements and ensure objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation and records.
• Apply systems engineering processes across the lifecycle.
• Support requirements verification and validation.
• Participate in system integration, testing, and sustainment.
• Coordinate engineering tasks and assist planning.
• Analyze problems and develop practical solutions.
• Review outputs for accuracy and alignment.
• Support engineering reviews and customer discussions.
• Collaborate with software, cybersecurity, and ops teams.
