Job summary

Sabre Systems, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support the PMA-201 Precision Strike Weapons Program Office at NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park, MD. The role includes analyzing engineering problems, interpreting drawings, and managing requirements in a defense environment.

The position is hybrid with local on-site work and periodic travel. Candidates should have three years of relevant experience, DoD process knowledge, an active clearance or higher, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of recent and relevant experience in engineering.
• Experience with DoD acquisition processes and defense program settings.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/hold DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs programmatic or technical analyses to design and test engineering solutions.
• Reviews technical drawings and documents for ECNs, RFVs, and ECPs.
• Tracks and validates requirements throughout development.
• Supports risk management and configuration management activities.
• Guides development of modern complex systems using systems engineering methods.
