Job summary

Sabre Systems is recruiting a Journeyman Engineer to support the Advanced Systems Team in PMA-265 at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Lexington Park, MD. On-site position with six annual travel trips. The role covers life cycle support for F/A-18 and EA-18G weapons systems, requiring DoD experience and TS clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• At least five years of relevant engineering experience, three in DoD.
• Experience delivering results on multi-level security projects.
• Defense, aerospace, or government program experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills; capable in technical writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
• Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• Apply systems engineering experience to perform system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
• Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
