Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is actively seeking a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support PMA-272 at NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park, MD. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at least two days per week with travel approximately one week per month.

The candidate will apply systems engineering methods across development, integration, test, acquisition, and life-cycle support of aircraft protection systems for both fixed-wing Strike IPT and helicopter/tilt-rotor

Qualifications

• BS/BA in technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a related engineering role preferred (FMS is a plus).
• Experience with systems engineering processes and life-cycle support.

Responsibilities

• Support FMS for aircraft protection systems for Navy PMA-272.
• Work on-site at NAS Patuxent River at least two days per week; travel up to 1 week per month.
• Develop, test, integrate, and sustain electronic systems for aircrew situational awareness.
• Provide technical guidance to program offices, contractors, and sponsors.
• Prepare technical documentation, analyses, and briefings for stakeholders.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to meet milestones and deliverables.
