Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support PMA-234 at NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park, MD. The role serves as Deputy to the Assistant Program Manager Systems Engineering - Low Band, with a local hybrid schedule (2 days on-site, telework otherwise) and about two weeks of travel per quarter.

Qualifications

• Must have a Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university.
• ALLOWED SUBSTITUTION: Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience
• Must have at least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, three (3) of which must be directly related to DoD systems.
• Demonstrated experience delivering results in defense, aerospace, or government programmatic/technical settings.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Deputy to the Assistant Program Manager Systems Engineering - Low Band.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage technical and performance requirements from internal and external stakeholders to align with objectives.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication among teams, program offices, IPT members, contractors, and external agencies to ensure SE practices are followed.
• Facilitate Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) events.
• Identify, assess, and document technical, programmatic, and readiness risks.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, memorandums, and analyses.
• Contribute to creation and maintenance of integrated master plans and schedules.
