Job summary

Type One Energy Group is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the development of fusion energy technologies. You will work with magnet engineering, physics, design engineering, manufacturing, and project management to integrate complex systems across disciplines.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in system design, architecture, and documentation, with a focus on interfaces and verification.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Engineering or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience designing complex systems.
• Experience with system design methodologies and Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Experience developing architectures, requirements, interfaces, verification plans, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate functional analysis, requirements development, interface management, and system architecture development.
• Support system integration across engineering disciplines and partners.
• Ensure configuration management and change control in system modeling and engineering deliverables.
• Support design reviews and change management, including risk assessment and impact analysis.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to facilitate cross-functional design activities.
