Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years designing and integrating electrical systems in complex environments.
- Experience with magnet power supplies or large-scale power conversion equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design, specify, integrate, and support magnet power supply systems.
- Develop requirements for magnet electrical systems including grounding and protection.
- Analyse energy handling for safe charging, discharge, and stored-energy management.
- Support quench detection, fault detection, and magnet protection architecture.
- Create electrical specs, test procedures, and verification records.
- Lead or support system integration, testing, and commissioning.
