ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a state-of-the-art data center. The role focuses on managing hardware/software tickets, debugging GPUs/CPUs, and coordinating with vendors to quickly resolve issues and maintain uptime.

The ideal candidate has strong Linux skills, scripting ability, experience with JIRA, and hands-on hardware installation capabilities in a collaborative, high‑uptime environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a data center environment with CPUs/GPUs.
• Proficiency with JIRA, scripting, and debugging methods (BMC, BIOS, GPU).
• Strong Linux skills with automated scripts and log review.
• Ability to physically install/replace hardware and use lab equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Pay Range:

$55-$60/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Manage and respond to technical tickets related to hardware and software issues in the data center environment.
• Debug platforms and systems, including GPUs, CPUs, and related hardware components.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and partners to resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Monitor data center operations for power outages, network disruptions, and cooling leaks, ensuring continuous uptime.
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot hardware components physically and through firmware/OS debugging.

What's Needed?

• Experience working in a data center environment with complex systems involving CPUs and GPUs.
• Proficiency with JIRA, scripting, and debugging methodologies (BMC, BIOS, GPU).
• Strong Linux skills, including running automated scripts and log review.
• Ability to physically install and replace hardware components, including the use of lab equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
