Job summary

Amazon LEO (Project Kuiper) seeks a Systems Development Engineer to design and manage both cloud and on‑premises infrastructure that supports critical engineering environments. You’ll work with RHEL and Windows, oversee VMware VSphere, and partner with design teams to implement scalable, reliable services for satellite research and development.

You will balance urgent operational needs with long‑term infrastructure planning, following change control practices and documenting all configurations

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficient in modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage RHEL supporting engineering tools.
• Manage Windows supporting engineering tools.
• Manage VMware VSphere and guests.
• Maintain uptime for critical design and manufacturing applications.
