Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to own and operate infrastructure critical to our satellite broadband platform. You will design, implement, and maintain hybrid-cloud infrastructure, including AWS-based and on-premise elements, and collaborate with Siemens engineering teams to deliver reliable tools and services in support of Amazon Leo.

The ideal candidate has strong automation, programming, Linux experience, and a track record delivering large-scale projects in fast-paced

Qualifications

Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
Proficient in at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Go, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
Experience with Linux/Unix.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain infrastructure as code for hybrid-cloud Siemens engineering applications.
Monitor system performance, ensuring uptime, scalability, and reliability of applications and Infrastructure.
Analyze current infrastructure capacity and forecast future needs to support organizational growth.
Day to day support of existing Siemens applications on AWS and on-premise.
Automate Siemens deployment and administration of Siemens engineering tools.
Drive an environment of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
