Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and operate a scalable cloud service for Kuiper’s LEO constellation. You will develop code, implement CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards to monitor system health at large scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems and data pipelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate the infrastructure you build.
• Develop and mentor junior team members.
• Engineer and build a cloud service that is reliable and available for customers.
• Work on features that enhance quality of service and security for customers.
• Collaborate across teams to build networking functions on AWS cloud infrastructure and set development best practices.
