Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Systems Development Engineer to design, build, and operate automated infrastructure powering Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) at global scale.

You will drive reliability, security, and operability of complex infrastructure and automation platforms. You will partner with principal engineers, software and security teams to translate demanding customer and compliance requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of development/programming/scripting language experience (Python/Java/Bash/Perl).
• Experience with automation and at least one version control tool.
• Ability to manage and troubleshoot networks and protocols (DNS/DHCP/TCP).
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows OS support at scale.
• Active US Government TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility or higher.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain a logically isolated development environment within AWS Secret Cloud region.
• Monitor system health and apply patches and updates across hosted services.
• Administer the GitLab repository including access, pipelines, and version control.
• Support lab connectivity, network switches, KVM architecture, and developer workstations.
