Job summary

The University of Houston Dean, Pharmacy is seeking a systems professional responsible for analyzing, developing, and maintaining electronic information systems for key campus functions. You will interface with users, prepare data reports, and train staff to use complex software across Windows and Linux servers with REDCap and EMS/SimIQ tools.

Candidates should have a 4-year degree or equivalent experience, with at least three years in a related field.

Qualifications

• Requires a formal, direct job-related 4-year degree or equivalent training.
• Minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
• Security sensitive role with criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop and maintain electronic information systems for a major university function or program.
• Interface with users to identify needs and prepare and compile data and reports.
• Train staff to use computers and the implemented system; instruct clerical staff on system use.
• Develop long-range planning for software/hardware purchases and developments.
