Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks a highly skilled systems analyst to develop physics-based models of military and intelligence systems. You will implement simulations in MATLAB, C++, and Python, and contribute to a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team addressing national security challenges.

Applicants should have a strong physics background, experience in systems analysis, and the ability to learn new technologies while collaborating with sponsors and team leadership.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant field or a Bachelor’s with 3+ years’ related experience.
Active Top Secret clearance or eligible for one is highly desired.
Strong systems-analysis, physics-based modeling, and data-analysis background.

Responsibilities

Conduct physics- and engineering-based models of military and intelligence systems.
Develop software simulations in MATLAB, C++, Python, and other languages.
Work within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver engineering designs and analyses.
Communicate complex technical results clearly to sponsors and peers.
