Job summary

Athari is seeking a Systems Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to enhance MATLAB-based physics and electronic warfare models. The role involves expanding features for sensors, weapons, and EW capabilities, and optimizing code for efficient batch runs and analyses.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering/physics background, proficiency in MATLAB, and experience in software architecture and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Data/Reporting competency with MATLAB-based tools.
• Modeling and simulation of RF propagation, electronic warfare, sensors, missiles.
• Software development experience with MATLAB and general programming.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong emphasis on software architecture and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Independently add features to the MATLAB codebase and model basic physics phenomenology (RF propagation, EW, missiles, sensors).
• Implement features efficiently in the existing codebase and perform QC, including unit tests.
• Collaborate with team to define required features for analysis and ensure proper interactions across modules.
• Take responsibility for software architecture and quality control of the codebase.
