Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks candidates for challenging analysis and technology development in missile defense, hypersonic systems, and sensor performance analysis. You will work with dynamic teams on modeling, simulations, and data exploitation, with potential to lead small-to-medium technical teams as needs evolve.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with 5–7 years in quantitative disciplines.
• Exceptional technical problem-solving ability and rapid learning.
• Experience with missile defense, hypersonic systems, threat assessment, red teaming, guidance and control, sensors or related defense technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analyses on missile and hypersonic vehicle problems.
• Perform threat assessment and red-teaming activities.
• Develop guidance and control algorithms and performance analysis.
• Create phenomenology models and data exploitation.
• Model and simulate kill chains and sensor performance.
• Analyze experimental and flight-test data.
