Job summary

Referment is working with a global investment and technology organisation to hire a Systems Administrator for its enterprise technology team. You’ll combine user support with infrastructure administration and project work across a mixed Windows and Linux environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems administration and end-user support.
• Knowledge of Windows enterprise environments and productivity applications.
• Interest in building technology and helping people use it well.
• Strong research, analytical, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex issues across PCs, servers, mobile devices and communications infrastructure.
• Administer hardware, software and infrastructure-level systems across Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Support users by phone, remotely and in person in a time-sensitive environment.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvements for efficiency.
• Use independent research and analysis to resolve unfamiliar technical problems.
