Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of IT support experience.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, AD, IIS, MS Exchange, TCP/IP and SharePoint.
• Ability to work in a hybrid/onsite environment with occasional after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Create and restore system backups, database backups, and system configuration to support daily operations.
• Support email systems On-Premises and Online in a hybrid environment, including migration, maintenance, backup and restore tasks.
• Maintain and support both virtual and physical IT environments.
• Install, maintain and support signage, antivirus, trouble ticketing system and error reporting systems.
• Maintain and monitor modified Tier 2 Data Center and remote office equipment.
• Provide telephone system support, scripting and troubleshooting.
• Schedule, patch, upgrade, and perform firmware updates for all company IT equipment.
• Design, configure, and install new physical and virtual servers with necessary software components.
• Design, configure, install WAN, LAN, WIFI, Site-to-site VPNs and firewalls; monitor, troubleshoot and repair.
• Configure and size UPS for branch offices; troubleshoot and replace batteries as needed.
• Recommend upgrades for remote office equipment and network configurations.
• Document administration and security processes; create and update IT department policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-supported software products and equipment.
• Ensure the good operation of the IT department per SOPs; attendance and occasional after-hours work.
