Job summary

Valleywise Health in Phoenix is seeking a nurse leader to guide system-wide development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of evidence-based stroke and sepsis programs for adult patients.

The role partners with medical directors, nursing leaders, frontline teams, Quality, EMS, and community organizations to maintain certification readiness and improve patient outcomes in alignment with CMS, DNV, and American Heart Association standards.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree in Nursing (RN).
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing preferred.
• Five years of RN experience in relevant areas (CCU, ED, stroke, sepsis, quality).
• Arizona RN license in good standing or compact license.
• BLS certification; ACLS and NIHSS current.
• CPHQ/SCRN or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-wide development, implementation, and evaluation of stroke and sepsis programs.
• Collaborate with medical directors, nursing leaders, Quality, EMS, and community partners.
• Ensure CMS, DNV, and AHA standards alignment and certification readiness.
