Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, Oregon seeks a RN leader for the Stroke Program within the Quality Improvement team. The role requires guiding stroke care excellence, leading performance improvement projects, and delivering data-driven reports to stakeholders.

The candidate will promote program mission and collaborative practice across teams. The position combines on-site and flexible on-call activity in a hybrid model, with emphasis on education, SCRN attainment, and ongoing

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required upon hire.
ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
Stroke Certified RN (SCRN) required within two (2) years of hire.
BSN required within three (3) years of hire.
Four (4) years acute hospital experience required.
Experience with assessing and caring for patients with stroke preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance quality of care for stroke patients.
Serve as SME for clinical team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Develop and implement education for stroke care and prevention.
Lead continuous performance improvement initiatives.
Provide key quality and performance indicator reports to stroke team and senior leadership.
Facilitate research and support patient stroke groups and initiatives.
