Job summary

Medical City Lewisville is seeking a dedicated RN leader to coordinate the stroke program across the continuum of care. You will drive performance improvement, serve as a clinical resource, and coordinate staff/patient education to enhance outcomes.

The role includes community liaison duties, marketing involvement for services, and advocating for patients while promoting cost-effective practice within the hospital.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• RN license in Texas or compact license.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• SCRN certification preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in Neurosciences or Emergency Care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the clinical management of the stroke patient population across the continuum of care.
• Serve as a leader for the stroke program performance improvement initiative.
• Act as a clinical resource and role model for all areas caring for stroke patients.
• Provide and/or coordinate educational activities for staff and patients.
• Act as a community liaison on behalf of the program and hospital.
• Involved in marketing and promotion of services; advocate for patients and cost-effective practice.
