Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a System Vice President of Talent to design and drive an integrated talent strategy across the health system. This senior HR leader will oversee recruitment, development, mobility, and coaching to attract, develop, and retain a mission-driven workforce.

The role partners with HR and clinical leaders to align talent with quality, patient experience, growth, and financial performance, while meeting regulatory requirements and standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Experience leading system-wide talent strategies in large health systems.
• Demonstrated ability to design recruitment, development, mobility, and coaching programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a system-wide talent strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
• Provide executive oversight of recruitment and workforce planning across the system.
• Lead leadership development programs and enterprise coaching to drive performance and succession.
• Oversee internal mobility, career pathways, and talent reviews to ensure bench strength.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and accreditation standards.
