Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Linthicum, MD is seeking a SkillBridge Safety Systems Engineer to join our Mission Systems Engineering team on-site. You will develop a MIL STD 882 compliant safety program, perform hazard analyses, and deliver formal safety reports.

This role offers on-the-job training with the potential to convert to a full-time position. DoD Secret clearance eligibility is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field with experience.
• Experience implementing System Safety engineering practices and hazard analyses.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance and SAP access.

Responsibilities

• Develop MIL STD 882 compliant system safety program.
• Conduct system safety hazard analyses and mitigate risks.
• Document safety analysis results in formal contract reports.
