Northrop Grumman is recruiting for junior, mid-level, and senior engineers with a background in Software Engineering to support our team. This position can be located in multiple sites, including Linthicum (MD).

Due to the nature of this work, this position will be 100% on-site. Responsibilities include designing, developing, documenting, testing and debugging software; collaborating with hardware engineers; analyzing user needs; and ensuring software standards are met to support national

Qualifications

Active U.S. Government security clearance required at the time of application.
Experience with programming/scripting languages.
Understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
Ensures software standards are met.
