The role involves coordinating with Mechanics, Automation Techs, IS teams and other functions to define designs and ensure compliant operations. The role requires deep knowledge of GMP/GAMPs, strong problem-solving, and ability to lead technical tasks across departments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years equipment experience in pharma/biotech.
• Associate’s degree + 6 years equipment experience in pharma/biotech.
• High school diploma/GED + 8 years equipment experience in pharma/biotech.
• Advanced degree in Mechatronics, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Under general supervision evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Perform assignments with clear objectives and limited variables.
• Initiate and complete routine technical tasks.
• Function as a technical specialist to equipment or systems regarding problem solving operations.
• Routinely audit operational performance and regulatory compliance of equipment items or systems of complexity.
• Work with multiple departments to develop requirements and recommendations for system modifications.
• Acquire and critique quotes for equipment modifications or installations.
