Responsibilities

• Maintain and input system maintenance logs.
• Operate under the supervision of a System Administrator and/or Maintenance Engineer.
• Focus on basic server and network support tasks, primarily aimed at keeping hardware operational, monitoring system performance, and ensuring network connectivity.
• Ensure basic server uptime, resolve minor issues, and support higher-level team members, often following strict guidelines and protocols.
• This role serves as an introduction to more advanced server management and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in server, team leadership, and oversight of systems and network maintenance.
• Experience reviewing maintenance history and trends to identify problems.
• Experience managing teams of technicians or engineers in supporting servers and personnel in large-scale IT organizations.
• Understanding or experience in PWS 5.6.3 Linux/Unix environments, including working in Unix or Linux systems, server and network experience, and maintaining high-volume/high-availability systems.
• Expertise in Linux/Unix Servers and ability to direct geographically separated maintenance technicians.
• Knowledge of Maintenance Technician Level 1 and 2 tasks.
• Experience conducting routine system maintenance tasks.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related technical discipline with 5+ years of work experience.
• Alternatively, 8 additional years of relevant experience can substitute for education (total 13 years).

Clearance:

• Ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation.

Location:
