Responsibilities

• Maintain and input in system maintenance logs.
• Operate under the supervision of a System Administrator and/or Maintenance Engineer.
• Focus on basic server and network support tasks, primarily aimed at hardware operation, system performance monitoring, and network connectivity.
• Ensure server uptime, resolve minor issues, and support higher-level team members following strict guidelines and protocols.
• This role serves as an introduction to more advanced server management and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in server, team leadership, and oversight of systems and network maintenance.
• Experience reviewing maintenance history and trends to identify issues.
• Experience managing teams of technicians or engineers in a large-scale IT organization.
• Understanding or experience with PWS 5.6.3 Linux/Unix environment, high volume/high availability systems.
• Expertise in Linux/Unix Servers, capable of directing geographically separated maintenance technicians.
• Knowledge of Maintenance Technician Level 1 and 2 tasks.
• Routine system maintenance experience.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related field, with 5+ years' experience.
• Alternatively, 13 years of relevant experience can substitute for education.

Clearance

• Ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation.
