Basic Job Functions:

Responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, directing maintenance activities to meet plant objectives, and acting as an Advisor and Coach to facilitate teamwork and continuous improvement worldwide.

Education/Experience:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s or 2-year Technical degree in engineering, mechanical, or electrical fields.
  • 10 years of Maintenance experience.
  • 8-10 years of leadership experience.

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Vacuum Systems, and Laser operations.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of LOTO and 70E electrical safety standards.
  • Proven organizational and supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with maintenance and spare part scheduling systems (CMMS), knowledge of MAXIMO is a plus.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain facility performance standards, maximize equipment reliability, and utilize process tools.
  • Lead maintenance system improvements at satellite facilities, requiring 25-50% international travel.
  • Focus on equipment reliability and implement process enhancements.
  • Develop plans for new technology and capital projects.
  • Use visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization.
  • Spend time on the plant floor developing personnel and ensuring troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Track manufacturing and warehouse metrics, prioritize opportunities, and set objectives.
  • Ensure equipment availability, manpower planning, waste elimination, and safety compliance.
  • Manage P&L responsibilities over relevant cost centers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Direct reports expected.

Travel:

  • 10-20% travel required.

Estimated Salary Range:

  • $97,500 - $139,000 annually.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting, standing, or walking for up to 12 hours daily.
  • Frequent stair climbing.
  • Lifting up to 58 pounds occasionally, 37 pounds frequently.
  • Pushing/pulling up to 27 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently.
  • Repetitive hand use.
  • Vision requirements and ability to distinguish colors.
  • Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, or bend as needed.
  • Compliance with safety standards and PPE use.

Candidates must meet education and experience requirements, and pass background and other tests as required.
