Job summary

Boston Government Services (BGS) seeks a System Engineer-Technical Authority to support the Y12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The role requires coordinating configuration management, assessing system health, and providing technical responsibility for plant operability. The position is fully onsite with 4/10 schedule.

Applicants should have a BS in Engineering or Physical Science from an ABET-accredited program, be a U.S. citizen, and be eligible for DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Science from an ABET-accredited program in the United States.
U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
Experience with configuration management and system health assessment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate configuration management for assigned systems.
Assess system health and performance; ensure operability.
Prepare design change packages and evaluate impact on safety bases.
Perform troubleshooting and system improvements.
Coordinate with related disciplines and conduct system walkdowns.
