Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) seeks a Systems Engineer to support operations at the Y12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The role requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant systems in a nuclear-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 5+ years of professional experience.
• U.S. citizenship and active DOE Q security clearance.
• Experience in nuclear-regulated environments (NRC/DOE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support machining center installations and production operations, including configuration management and paperwork.
• Demonstrate machining background experience and understanding of related systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and systems-improvement activities.
• Apply engineering expertise to resolve technical system and equipment issues with related disciplines.
• Adhere to Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, and Conduct of Maintenance in nuclear facilities.
• Work in a production environment and perform other duties as assigned.
