Recent MSP Experience Required

A growing IT services firm supporting mid‑size businesses across NYC and Northern NJ is hiring a hands‑on System Engineer. This is a client‑facing, high‑ownership role for someone coming directly from an MSP who enjoys variety, projects, and solving real infrastructure problems.

This is not internal IT. You’ll work across multiple client environments and be trusted with escalations, projects, and ongoing improvements.

What You’ll Own

• Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
• Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
• VMware and/or Hyper‑V virtualization
• Firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, core networking
• Infrastructure troubleshooting end‑to‑end
• Client projects (migrations, upgrades, cloud initiatives)
• Direct client communication

What You Must Have

• Recent MSP experience (non‑negotiable)
• Strong Windows & Network Administration background
• Hands‑on Azure and M365 experience
• Virtualization expertise (VMware / Hyper‑V)
• Confident handling escalations in client environments

Senior‑Level ($125K Range)

• Experience leading complex infrastructure projects
• $90K–$115K base (up to $125K for senior talent)
