Bowman Williams, a premium New York City based MSP, is seeking a Senior System Administrator to lead hands-on infrastructure projects across financial services, legal, and professional services clients in NYC. Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of MSP experience required.
• 2+ years of hands-on project engineering experience.
• Strong experience implementing infrastructure projects from design through completion.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and SharePoint experience.
• CCNA level networking knowledge with hands-on experience across switches, firewalls, wireless, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client projects from technical design through implementation and handoff.
• Lead Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Perform client onboardings, offboardings, office builds, and office moves.
• Deploy and configure networks, firewalls, switches, wireless, and related infrastructure.
• Implement Entra ID, Intune, MDM, MAM, and Conditional Access solutions.
• Execute Windows Server to server and server to cloud migrations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during project delivery and act as escalation resource.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress to clients and internal teams.

Work Model: Client facing with regular NYC area site work

Salary: $115,000 to $125,000

Project Focused Senior MSP Role

We are a premium New York City based Managed Services Provider hiring a Senior System Administrator to lead hands on infrastructure projects across financial services, legal, and other professional services clients.

This is not a traditional ticket focused System Administrator role. You will spend the majority of your time delivering technical projects involving cloud migrations, network deployments, server modernization, office builds, endpoint management, and Microsoft security.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Account Teams, and senior engineers while serving as a trusted technical resource for clients.

What You Will Work On

• Deliver client projects from technical design through implementation and handoff
• Lead Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and cloud migration initiatives

What We Are Looking For

• 3 to 5+ years of MSP experience is required

• Strong Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and SharePoint experience
• CCNA level networking knowledge with hands on experience across switches, firewalls, wireless, VLANs, and network troubleshooting
• Experience with Meraki and common MSP tools including ConnectWise, RMM, PSA, and documentation platforms
• Ability to independently execute technical projects while collaborating with Project Managers and senior engineers
• Strong client communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
