WOOD Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a System Engineer, Level 3 in San Antonio, TX to lead complex systems through all lifecycle phases—from concept to retirement—while coordinating with government partners and cross-functional teams.

The role requires a TS/SCI with a polygraph, a strong engineering background, and a track record of rigorous, disciplined systems engineering under the ISO/IEC 15288 framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field plus six years of systems engineering experience.
• Alternative: High School Diploma or GED with ten years of systems engineering experience.
• Master's degree with four years of systems engineering experience.
• PhD with four years of systems engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ISO/IEC 15288 system engineering activities and prepare work products.
• Prepare outputs for multiple ISO/IEC 15288 processes across projects.
• Assist in ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
• Analyze technical alternatives and provide preliminary recommendations.
• Develop and deliver work products in ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Field or related discipline + 6 years systems engineering experience

High School Diploma or GED + 10 years general systems engineering experience

Master's degree in Engineering Field or related discipline + 4 years experience

PhD in Engineering Field or related discipline + 4 years experience
