Candidates must hold a clear TS/SCI with polygraph and meet education/experience criteria. The position offers day shifts, non-telework, and a salary range of $132,100–$147,100 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field and six years of systems engineering experience.
• Alternative: high school diploma with ten years of systems engineering experience.
• Master’s or PhD with respective four years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in Technical Process Areas per ISO/IEC 15288.
• Assist in multiple work products in Project/Technical Process Areas of ISO/IEC 15288.
• Assist in ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas tasks.
• Analyze technical alternatives and make preliminary recommendations.
• Develop and deliver a work product in ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
• Develop and deliver work products for ISO/IEC 15288 Project/Technical Areas.
• Independently analyze and recommend alternatives for design elements.
• Develop and deliver work products in all ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

Overview

System Engineer ensures complex systems are built with clarity, consistency, and technical discipline from start to finish. They guide systems through every phase - concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement - while navigating technical questions, resolving challenges with Government partners, and keeping communication flowing across teams and leadership. Their work spans the full ISO\/IEC 15288 framework, shaping requirements, architecture, integration, verification, planning, risk, configuration, quality, and acquisition activities with precision. Security Clearance Requirements

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS\/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Qualifications

Required Education & Years of Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience. OR
• A High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area) may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. OR
• A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience. OR
• A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
