Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a System Engineer III with an active TS/SCI w/ POLY to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD. The role focuses on leading system engineering efforts, developing requirements, architecture, and documentation for complex DoD systems.

The ideal candidate will drive requirements, oversee design and integration, coordinate with government oversight, and ensure the technical integrity of the system throughout its lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and architectures to develop system requirements specs.
• Lead design and development activities and provide technical leadership.
• Develop system architecture and design documentation.
• Coordinate action items from reviews and ensure cross-discipline alignment.
• Interact with Government personnel regarding SE considerations and issues.
• Manage and ensure technical integrity of the system baseline over time.
• Support DoD Certification/Accreditation processes and JCIDS documents.
• Develop and review System Engineering Plans, Requirements specs, and interfaces.
