Job summary

SSATI (Sensible Solutions and Technologies, Inc.) is seeking a System Engineer Level 2 in the Fort Meade, MD area. This role requires an active Top-Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph and hands-on experience across the DoD system lifecycle, from requirements to deployment and support.

You will analyze requirements, lead design and integration, document architectures, and coordinate with government stakeholders and program teams.

Qualifications

• A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant certification (i.e., Security+) is required.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
• Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
• Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develops technical documentation.
