Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions, San Antonio, TX, is seeking a System Engineer, Level 3, full-time. The role focuses on guiding complex systems through all phases from concept to retirement, ensuring clarity, discipline, and alignment with government partners.

Candidates must hold a clear TS/SCI with polygraph and meet education/experience criteria. The position offers day shifts, non-telework, and a salary range of $132,100–$147,100 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field and six years of systems engineering experience.
• Alternative: high school diploma with ten years of systems engineering experience.
• Master’s or PhD with respective four years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in Technical Process Areas per ISO/IEC 15288.
• Assist in multiple work products in Project/Technical Process Areas of ISO/IEC 15288.
• Assist in ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas tasks.
• Analyze technical alternatives and make preliminary recommendations.
• Develop and deliver a work product in ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
• Develop and deliver work products for ISO/IEC 15288 Project/Technical Areas.
• Independently analyze and recommend alternatives for design elements.
• Develop and deliver work products in all ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

Six years of systems engineering experience

Master’s degree in Engineering Field +4 years experience

PhD in Engineering Field +4 years experience
