Job summary

LCRA seeks a System Controls Supervisor to lead Relay and Control Technicians across the eastern district, ensuring reliable grid operation from Central Texas to the Gulf Coast. You will oversee project reviews, maintenance planning, and customer support, driving quality and safety in every task.

As a leader, you will coordinate with multiple teams, develop cost estimates, and guide staff through supervision and development activities, strengthening grid reliability for Texans.

Qualifications

• Nine+ years of experience in construction/maintenance of power substations or related control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for staff while addressing department issues.
• Hire, train, assign work, evaluate performance and supervise staff.
• Develop cost estimates and scopes of work; coordinate with Supply Chain to onboard contractors.
• Ensure timely project coordination between field crews, PM/CM, and other teams.
• Attend scoping meetings and site visits to propose system or layout improvements.
• Review and approve test reports for commissioning and maintenance activities.
