Allegheny Health Network seeks an AHN System Chair, Department of Hematology and Oncology, to lead a growing program with divisions in Medical Oncology and Hematology and Cell Therapy. The role focuses on clinical and translational research, patient care, and strategic development across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The Chair will work with senior leaders to advance standards of care, maintain accreditations, and guide research activities within the division, interfacing with the Cancer

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO with valid license to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Board-certified in oncology and/or hematology with completed fellowship.
• ACGME Oncology/Hematology Fellowship completed.
• 7+ years of oncology/hematology experience.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to patient care and education.

• Articulate a clear vision, drive innovative care programs, and set high expectations for achievement.
• Collaborate with Cancer Center leadership to implement patient care strategy and maintain standards of care and accreditation.
• Interact effectively with multiple constituencies and audiences across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Identify issues proactively and implement solutions while adopting value-based care metrics.
• Mentor and develop physician staff and team; oversee documentation and operations within the department.
• Oversee all activities related to maintaining and advancing patient care within the department.
• Participate in regional, national and international meetings; contribute to research and education.
• Contribute to investigator-initiated trials, cooperative group and industry-sponsored studies and publications.
