Job summary

Allegheny Health Network and its Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh seek an AHN System Chair, Department of ENT. The role leads clinical care, research, and education within otolaryngology, shaping strategy and program growth.

The Chair will drive standards of care, accreditation, and multidisciplinary collaboration, while mentoring faculty and coordinating academic activities regionally and nationally.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in otolaryngology.
• Completion of an ACGME-approved Otolaryngology Residency.
• Licensed in Pennsylvania prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Articulate a clear vision and drive strategic initiatives.
• Lead a collaborative ENT department with 14 physicians and 13 APPs.
• Oversee patient care standards, accreditation, and quality metrics.
• Direct research, development, and investigator-initiated trials.
• Mentor residents, fellows, and physician staff.
• Represent AHN in regional, national, and international meetings.
