Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks an AHN System Chair for the Department of Hematology and Oncology based at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. The role leads Medical Oncology and Hematology/Cell Therapy with a focus on clinical and translational research and exceptional patient care.

The Chair oversees strategic program development, accreditation, and research activities, collaborating with senior leaders to align care standards with regional and national goals.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board certification in oncology and/or hematology.
• Completion of an ACGME-approved Oncology/Hematology Fellowship.
• Licensed in Pennsylvania prior to employment.
• 7+ years of oncology/hematology experience.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to patient care and education.
